Visit with Santa....

So we decided to take Jaelyn to see Santa in person. She has seemed pretty excited about him with all of the books we've read about him. When we arrived she saw all the kids in line and jumping up on his lap and smiling at him, telling him what they wanted for Christmas and telling him how good they'd been all year. She was loving it and kept pointing and wanted to run over to where he was. Then as soon as it was our turn to go she was totally freaked out. She first had a scared to death look on her face for the first shot, screaming crying for the next shot and then wanted Mommy to sit with her for the remaining shots. She was in awe of the snow machine that was hanging from the ceiling so there's one picture of her pointing at that. The other I had to mess with her to get her to crack even a little smile. She did okay though considering the stories I've heard from friends about their first encounter. Last year she was too little and just sat there :) I think next year she will be ready and willing to tell him everything she wants for Christmas and convince him she's been such a good little girl!
Here are the pictures from today and a few of the cheese monster before leaving home. She is such a ham, and is loving to pose now more than ever before. She cocks her head to the side and it may just be the cutest thing ever.
I'm feeling pretty good and getting so excited for February to get here!
