Happy Birthday Daddy!

Yesterday was Tom's 33rd birthday and we had the best time celebrating it being on a Sunday and being with our little family. We had a huge party for him on Saturday night with tons of friends and family and more kids than adults it seemed. We would have it no other way, the kids in our life are what make it so fun-filled and important. It seems like they bring all of the purpose to our lives. Needless to say the kids had a blast playing volleyball, eating candy necklaces and now & laters, playing cornhole, listening and dancing to music, riding bikes and throwing footballs, there was so much going on and while they played their hearts out so did the adults! Tom got so many wonderful gifts that were SO unexpected! He was so touched by all of the people that came to celebrate him with us. Jaelyn must have known it was Daddy's special day because she had tons and tons of kisses to give him all weekend!
The party started at 5 and went until past 1am although Tom and I both were in bed by midnight! That was so late for me because I'm starting to get tired again and needing naps in the afternoon! We woke up Sunday and went to breakfast then went took Tom shopping for his birthday. He got more great gifts, some new Converse chucks and a nice watch from Macy's. He received gift cards and couldn't wait to spend them :) Not to mention he bought himself a 47 inch LCD tv and a new Cadillac LOL!
We spent the rest of the day at home relaxing watching some football while Jaelyn napped and ate plenty of the homemade cheesecake Sheena made him since he isn't a big cake fan. We went to dinner at Genji (the famous Japanese steakhouse here) and that definitely hit the spot for all of us!
I've been thoroughly enjoying my new camera and still learning how to properly use it in all different ways it works.
We are looking forward to visiting some friends in Louisville soon and are pretty excited about that.
